About this course

This course is a beginner guide to cupcake decorating. You will learn skills and techniques using ready to roll icing to produce Halloween themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake.

This course is a beginner guide to cupcake decorating. You will learn skills and techniques using ready to roll icing to produce Halloween themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake. You will be able to produce a selection of fondant cupcake toppers including a pumpkin, a witch’s hat, and a spider.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Produce a fondant pumpkin
Produce a fondant witch’s hat
Produce a fondant spider
Learn how to pipe buttercream on to a cupcake
Learners will have produced a selection of Halloween themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake.

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

No previous experience will be required to attend the course.

You will need:

Cupcakes
Buttercream
Piping bag and star nozzle or personal choice
Modelling paste – white
Board and rolling pin
Corn flour pouch
Modelling tools – ball tool, dresden tool,
Edible glue
Foam pad
Gel colours for colouring, black, orange, brown, green, yellow, or other preferred colours.
Note pad and pen

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
