About this course

This course is a beginner guide to cupcake decorating. You will learn skills and techniques using ready to roll icing and sugar florist paste mixed together or modelling paste, to produce a Unicorn cupcake topper.  

Learners will have produced a selection of Unicorn themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake.   During the session we will:

• Produce a fondant Unicorn topper 
• Learn how to pipe buttercream on to a cupcake

You will need:

• Laptop.
• Cupcakes 
• Buttercream
• Piping bag and nozzle of choice 
• Ready to roll icing 100g and squires sugar florist paste 50g mixed or modelling paste- white
• Board and rolling pin
• Corn flour pouch 
• Modelling tools – ball tool, dresden tool, 
• Edible glue
• Foam pad 
• Cocktail stick
• Craft knife or small knife
• Rejuvenating spirts and gold dust 
• Paintbrushes
• Gel colours: Yellow, pink, orange, green, blue, purple for the hair and tail
• Note pad and pen

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
