About this course

This course is a beginner guide to wedding cupcake decorating.

You will learn skills and techniques using buttercream to create beautiful wedding  themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake.   


By the end of the course, you will be able to produce a selection of  flowers including  Zinnia, Chrysanthemum and

Rose.    


Learners will have produced a selection of wedding themed decorations to enhance any celebration cupcake. 


Learners should bring:

  • Cupcakes 
  • Buttercream
  • Piping bags and nozzles: -Rose piping tip Wilton 104 thin side up when piping. Leaf Piping Wilton tip 366 beak shape when piping. 
  • Chrysanthemum piping tip Wilton 81. 
  • Zinnia piping tip Wilton 104, thin side facing upwards. Centre Grass Piping Wilton Tip 233 lift upwards to create longer centre stem buds. 
  • Gel colours for colouring leaves, green , brown, yellow.
  • If you prefer different colours for the flowers, please bring personal colours of choice. 
  • Note pad and pen

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
