In this unit the learner will understand the benefits of good time management, be able to plan own use of time and know how to improve their own time management.
This qualification is intended to be accessible to a wide range of learners of all abilities. Learners can develop a more hands on approach to their learning and gain practical skills , knowledge and understanding in their chosen vocational area. The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may help learners prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and may contribute to preparing them for working life beyond education.
This qualification is a unit from the Level 1 Award Exploring Occupational Studies suite, details of the unit taken will appear on a credit sheet that accompanies the Level 1 Award In Exploring Occupational Studies certificate.
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. The link for you to join the live sessions will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.
To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
1) FREE - if you earn less than £25,000 gross salary or are on a means-tested benefit.
2) PAYMENT HELP AVAILABLE - if you earn more than £25,000 (annual gross salary) but are on a low-income, we might be able to help pay part or all of your course fees. Email: learning@inspireculture.org.uk for an application form or if you have any questions.
3) CO-FUNDED - if you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees.
