This short course will provide you with an introduction to UX concepts and libraries that can be used for small and medium businesses.
It will look at the following topics with time to look at both theory and practice:
• The different career pathways within user experience (UX) design and its application in small/medium/large business
• The origin of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), User eXperience (UX), Service design, Interaction design and User Interface (UI) design
• The benefits of user experience (UX) design to the User, the Business, and the Customers of the business
• How user experience (UX) design is applied across products, services, and sectors (including responsiveness, design patterns and libraries)
• Introduction to the user-centred design process (UCD), agile method, lean UX and Heuristics
• How the use of minimum viable product (MVP) creates better products in the e-commerce sector through product development
• Tools that are- business centric, product centric, user centric and be able to formulate and analyse a problem and elicit software requirements that systematically align to business goal, user goal and product goals.
By the end of the course, you wil be able to:
Understand the business, product and user needs.
Articulate requirements systematically.
Create UX communication documents to work with designers and developers.
To get the most out of this course, you will need a basic understanding of business needs as well as being able to use software on computers and having an inclination to practical problem solving for business.
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
