Inspire Culture, Learning and Libraries is a proud delivery partner on a fantastic scheme called Miner2Major: The Real Sherwood Forest.

The scheme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, encourages local people and community groups to get involved in projects aimed at learning about, celebrating and conserving Nottinghamshire's heritage.

Courses celebrating the heritage of Sherwood Forest. Guided walks and creative photography are just a couple of the courses on offer – browse below to find out more!

The Miner2Major scheme is also offering residents of Nottinghamshire the free opportunity to have their own poetry displayed as part of a touring exhibition. If you're interested in writing poetry and live in the Sherwood Forest area, be sure to check out the Poetry Place Workshop starting this May.

Plus, if you're interested in knitting and crochet, be sure to take part in Knittinghamshire! The Miner2Major Landscape Partnership Scheme and the RSPB at Sherwood Forest are joining Inspire to support Nottinghamshire crafters to take part in The Innocent Big Knit and raise money for AgeUK
