About Beyond the Spectrum
Who says autistic people can’t be creative? Since when do people with ADHD struggle to write? Writing East Midlands’ Beyond the Spectrum has been disproving these misconceptions since 2021, through online workshops and live performances, building a community of supportive and highly creative writers in the process.
“I’ve enjoyed the chance to meet and chat with other autistic people who are interested in writing. I’ve loved being able to develop my skills with people who understand when I’m not able to present myself as neurotypical.” Beyond the Spectrum workshop participant
