Throughout the month of October Inspire libraries are offering the opportunity to join in with FACES, PLACES, our 2021 Big Draw project!
FACES, PLACES will celebrate place and our connection to it, by inviting you to make a mass portrait of the county.
Nottinghamshire Inspire Libraries will have FREE materials kits with easy to follow instructions and FACES, PLACES card tiles to draw or paint your portrait on. (Available to collect from 1 October, free of charge while stocks last)
Simply pick up a FACES, PLACES kit from a library and book a place. Artist Emma Reynard will take you through some fun ways of drawing a portrait, understanding the basic proportions of a face and how to add character.
This online webinar will be delivered via Zoom. Once you book a place you will receive a unique invitation code to gain access to the webinar.
Visit: www.inspireculture.org.uk/facesplaces for the full listings and to find out further information about Inspire's 2021 Big Draw project.
After completing your FACES, PLACES portrait you can donate it to library to add to the library display or if you would like to take it home, please photograph it and share it with us on our social channels using #FacesPlaces #TheBigDraw so we can add it to our growing picture of the Nottinghamshire community!
