Worksop Library Fun Palace 2025

Worksop Library will join hundreds of Fun Palaces nationally and internationally set to explode with FREE and FUN activities for all!

Come along and be part of the the fun as you try out different arts, science, music and cultural activities aimed at anyone of any age. 

We'll be welcoming local community groups and organisations into the library space, including:

• ABL Health - Take a ride on the smoothie bike
• Aurora Centre - See vintage toys and amazing artefacts 
• BCVS - Try your hand at stone painting
• Foster for East Midlands - Colour a personal card to take home
• From the Heart Charity - Take part in fun crafts and make a Forky
• Nottinghamshire County Council Flood Awareness - Check flood risks in the Augmented Reality Sandbox. It rains indoors!
• Girlguiding - Try out fun activities with the Girl Guides
• Harley Gallery - Have fun making and creating
• Ignite Futures - Be amazed by simple science tricks
• Mr Straw's House National Trust  and Clumber Park National Trust - Get stuck into a range of crafts on the theme of Enjoying the Outdoors
• Now Church at Langold - Have a go at autumn themed crafts and sensory play
• Oasis Community Centre - Enjoy nature themed crafts
• UK Atomic Energy Authority - Meet the robot dog and try out the giant plasma ball
• Veolia Nottinghamshire - Play the Wheel of Fortune Recycling Game
• Worksop Police Cadets -Discover the activities of the police cadets

• Virtual Reality Library - Grab a headset and be amazed by 7 thrilling virtual reality experiences including Wallace & Gromit in The Grand Getaway
• I Am An Artist - View the exhibition in the Worksop Library Gallery and unlock your inner artist at the Art Station with freelance artist Dan Donovan.
• Little Creatives - Drop in for creative fun for the under 5s - with artist Dawn Taylor
• Logic for little ones - Make your Code-a-pillars move!
• Play Giant Games and build with Big Bricks
• Make a badge at the Badge Making Station
