

Welcome to Eastwood Library, situated at the heart of the town centre. Our friendly team are always happy to welcome and assist you with your queries. We have an extensive range of adult and children’s books and audio books, plus the DH Lawrence and William E. Hopkins collections as well as an extensive local studies collection. We offer public PCs for both adults and children, with printing, photocopying and scanning facilities available. Free WiFi is also available and there are study areas around the library.
As a busy community hub, we are the place to visit to find out what’s on. Take a look at our local information area displaying an eye-catching map of Eastwood and listings of community groups and support within the area. There’s even a walking route starting from the library if you want to explore for yourself some of the hidden delights of Eastwood. Our library activities offer something for all, whatever your needs. Our regular children’s events include music making with Rattle Rhyme and Roll, Stay & Play sessions, monthly crafts and our fun family games sessions. For adults, there’s the Crime Café, community jigsaw, our weekly craft group, Games club and Places of Welcome to meet new faces. We also have a fortnightly Chess club for all ages! Look out for more activities during school holidays and our one off talks and events.
Keep an eye out for our brand-new course guide, packed with courses, many in our bookable meeting room here at Eastwood Library, offering lots of opportunities for local Adult Learners. For young people, Inspire College runs from nearby Eastwood Young People's Centre.
