Every Thursday

Open to people of all ages and skill, including long-time players or people new to the game. Free, no booking required.

Suitable for 9-13 year olds

Two sessions: 4pm - 5pm (beginners) or 5.15pm-6.15pm (next steps)

• 4-5pm for beginners or children who are new to code club.
• 5.15pm-6.15pm for children who have been to code club before and want to try more advanced projects

Free! Spaces are limited so booking is required (please see library staff or email us Stapleford.library@inspireculture.org.uk)

The aim of Code Club is to inspire the next generation to get excited about computer science and digital making.

To do this, they support a nationwide network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for children to build and share their ideas, learning along the way.

Thursday Mornings - Term Time Only

Due to high demand, from 11 September 2025 we will be offering two Rattle, Rhyme and Roll sessions every week during term time.

The 11am session is followed by an optional stay and play session.

Free, no booking required.

Our Rattle, Rhyme and Roll sessions are relaxed, friendly rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers. 

They are a chance for you to have fun, share rhymes and songs with your child, and meet other parents.

Sessions last about 30 minutes and are free.

A selection of toys are put out for children and toddlers to enjoy and it’s a chance to make new friends in a safe and fun environment.

Children's Author Event with Liz Mackenzie - The Clocker

Come along to a special visit from local children’s author Liz Mackenzie featuring story readings from her brand new book The Clocker, activities and the chance to meet the author behind the book. 

This event is FREE but booking is required as spaces are limited. To reserve your places, please speak to staff at the desk in Stapleford Library, or email: stapleford.library@inspireculture.org.uk
