City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma In Health & Social Care Of Adults

About the Course

This qualification is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to care for others in a broad range of health or social care settings by specialising in one of the following: adults with learning disabilities, dementia, or generic health and social care.

You will complete core units and have optional units to choose from, for example:

  •       Promote person-centred approaches in health and social care
  •       Support individuals to access education, training or employment.

Is it for me?

You must be working in a care setting already where you have some responsibility in your workplace, sometimes work without supervision, and want to develop or demonstrate your skills, perhaps to become a senior care worker.

Attendance

A 6- to 12-month course, studying one morning per week, with flexible learning options available to complete the course sooner. The course can be classroom- and workplace-based or delivered entirely in the workplace by agreement.
