About this course

Attendees will learn how to use free software on a tablet or smartphone to make quick and fun animations of toys/models, plasticine and paper cut-outs.

What will be covered on the course? What will be taught to learners?

Using Stop Motion Studio software.
Using Flipaclip software for hand drawn animation
History and techniques of animation
Simple special effects.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

Create their own simple animations

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

Learners should have some experience of using a smartphone or tablet

What resources/course materials do learners need to bring for the course?

Learners can use their own tablets or phones, but ipads and stands will be provided
Everything required will be provided, but additional toys, colouring pens and scissors will be useful

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
