About this course

In each session you will try out different techniques that will encourage and build confidence in your drawing skills and each activity will be a step on from the previous weeks. During the course you will be introduced to a range of drawing and painting media, techniques and processes that are simple but creative and will enable you to produce observational drawings from a range of subject matter.

You will learn about the properties of different media and the potential of different image making techniques through looking at and discussing other artists work and by demonstrations, personal experimentation and individual tuition.

By the end of the course everyone will have explored and gained confidence with a wide range of media and techniques, produced finished creative images and gained skills for future art and design work.
