About this course

Are you getting in to Knots about Christmas; then take time to relax with this Christmas Macramé mini course. Macrame is relaxing and therapeutic craft, as it keeps your hands busy and gives your mind time to rest.

You will learn the basic knots needed to get started with macramé and by the end of the course you be able to complete our own Christmas Projects – great for adding a natural touch to your Christmas decorations.

There is no previous experience necessary to complete this course, just a desire to have a try, as we will go over the basic knots.

At the end of the course learners will have an understanding of some of the equipment & materials available. At the end of the course learners will have the chance to try some mini projects to create Christmas decorations such as:

Tree decorations
Wall Hangings
Gift Ideas

Resources required for this course

3mm or 5mm macrame cord
scissors
optional: stick/twig, curtain hoop, wreath ring - depends on final project and will be discussed with tutor in weeks 1 and 2
