About this course

Discover how your smartphone can support your health and happiness in this course, designed to boost your digital confidence while focusing on wellbeing. Whether you're new to using digital tools or just want to explore how your phone and the online world can help you feel more organised, relaxed, and informed, this course offers a gentle and practical introduction.

Through fun, hands-on workshops, you'll learn how to make the most of trusted online resources that can support your everyday wellbeing. You’ll explore how to use the NHS website and app to find reliable health information, book appointments, and manage prescriptions. We’ll show you how YouTube can be a source of calming music, gentle exercise routines, and guided meditations. You’ll also discover a selection of free wellbeing apps to help with mood tracking, sleep, mindfulness, and staying active.

As a bonus, you’ll be introduced to the basics of artificial intelligence, using simple tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to help with everyday tasks such as meal planning and recipe ideas—making healthy living easier and more enjoyable.

Bring your own smartphone and join us and take positive steps towards digital confidence and personal wellbeing, all with the device already in your pocket.
