Take your landscape painting to the next level in this advanced course designed for those with prior experience in acrylics, who want to deepen their skills and develop a more expressive approach to painting.
This course will challenge you to push the boundaries of traditional landscape painting, allowing you to explore bold techniques, unique compositions, and emotional depth in your work.
Through expert demonstrations, guided exercises, and individualised feedback, you'll learn advanced acrylic techniques such as glazing, texture building, and incorporating mixed media elements.
You’ll explore how to capture atmosphere, mood, and movement within a landscape, experimenting with colour theory, dynamic compositions, and the manipulation of light and shadow. With a focus on developing a personal style and expressive voice, you’ll be encouraged to break away from photographic reference and embrace your creativity, whether working from memory, imagination, or abstract interpretation.
By the end of the course, you'll have a portfolio of advanced landscape paintings that showcase your technical growth and personal artistic expression.
