About this course

On this course we will create some unique hands sewn festive felt Christmas decorations.  These can be given as gifts or used to decorate your home.

Within the course you will be taught:

• a method to construct the decorations

• decorative techniques for embellishment

• Simple had sewing techniques

Learners should bring:

• a selection of coloured felt pieces (festive colours will be useful including red, white, green, brown)

• any seed beads, small beads, sequins, thin ribbon or ricrac they’d like to use. 

• a pair of small or medium sized fabric scissors

• a pair of paper scissors

• a basic sewing kit with a needle and pins would be useful 

• dressmakers’ thread (black, white, red, orange and thread to match felt or being used)

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
