ReNew is for residents of Newark and Sherwood and if you are currently not in employment and not able to actively look for work then this is a free course to give you the chance to learn a new skill in our friendly, informal ReNew classes.
This is a beginner’s short course learning how to start using basic spreadsheets within the Microsoft programme of Excel.
This is suitable for Learners that have not really used the programme but want to have a basic knowledge of Excel.
Students will learn how to navigate the Excel work area and create a small basic spreadsheet from scratch. Other skills that may be covered are entering text and numbers, using fonts, colours, borders, and basic formatting options. This is a good first step into using this programme.
You do not need to complete an Inspire enrolment form as it is a UKSPF project and Newark & Sherwood District Council have their own enrolment form that you will fill in on the day.
