About this course
ReNew is for residents of Newark and Sherwood and if you are currently not in employment and not able to actively look for work then this is a free course to give you the chance to learn a new skill in our friendly, informal ReNew classes.
This is a beginner’s short course learning how to start using basic word processing skills within the Microsoft programme of Word.
This is suitable for Learners that want to have a basic knowledge of Word.
Students will learn how to navigate the Word work area and create a document from scratch. Other skills that may be covered are entering text, pictures, and tables into documents and formatting them to look professional.
You do not need to complete an Inspire enrolment form as it is a UKSPF project and Newark & Sherwood District Council have their own enrolment form that you will fill in on the day.
NOTE: Please bring your National Insurance Number to enrol on the day.
