About this course

The aim of the course is to enable students to function at a basic everyday survival level. Students should be able to understand and communicate in Italian on a number of practical everyday matters. Language learning skills, including autonomous learning and how to approach some authentic material will be enhanced.

At the end of the course, you’ll have some elementary appreciation of Italian grammar and structures and you’ll be able to give basic information about yourself and ask for directions.

You’ll also be able to communicate at a basic level when you are in restaurants and in hotels. During the course, we will cover:

- Describing a city: asking for and giving directions.

- Talking about eating habits at what time of day

- Shopping for food: talking about different habits and tastes.

- Talking about daily routine.

- Talking about family

- Using the informal or formal form

- Useful expression for clothing and shopping

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
