About this course

About this course

Learning maths is a mystery. One of the most gorgeous things in maths is to discover something new from it. Have you thought of learning maths by using modelling clay or paper-folding. We will provide a great time for you to have the hands-on experience.

What will be covered on the course?

Throughout the course, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in modelling geometric shapes and figures with different dimensions. You can understand the relevant maths concepts and knowledge embedded in the activities. You will also try to apply the skills of using ruler, protractor, and calculator to the challenging tasks. In addition, it is a good time to train your eye-coordination and fine motor skills.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

On completion of this course, you will:

• inquire into the tricky points to build 2D and 3D shapes,

• investigate the shapes with their properties and dimensions.

• analyse and apply symmetries, fractions, angels, and circles to make geometric shapes and models.

• create shapes and models by using measurement and ratio.

Once completed, you could try another Multiply course, for example,

• Budgeting Tips & Tricks

• Getting Ready for Functional Maths

You could even opt to gain an accredited Functional Maths qualification.

This course is for people who don’t already have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above) or do but are not confident in using maths at this level.
