About this course

This course is designed to introduce learners to the principles and practice of Reiki, providing both theoretical understanding and practical experience. You will begin by learning what Reiki is, how it works, and its role in supporting physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

As part of the course, learners will be attuned to Reiki Level 1 and explore the meaning and application of the five Reiki principles.

Throughout the course, you will develop practical skills in performing Reiki healing sessions. You will learn how to use hand positions to carry out treatments on yourself and others, building confidence in applying Reiki techniques safely and effectively. You will also learn how to create a ball of energy and gain an understanding of how energy can be directed during a healing session.

The course will also cover what to expect during and after Reiki treatments, including possible healing reactions and how to respond to them.

Learners will explore the many benefits of Reiki and how it can support relaxation, balance, and overall wellbeing.
