About this course

This course will support you to take your SmartPhone photography journey a little further. The course will include some short walks around the local area to take photographs. This course assumes learners have some basic experience of using their SmartPhone camera. During the course you will learn how to find your mobile camera app and locate your images in your gallery. Over the four weeks you will explore a range of composition techniques, depth of field and create some amazing images using double exposure techniques. You will have the opportunity to explore some simple editing tools including Snapseed. What will learners achieve by the end of the course? Learners will be able to use at least 3 composition techniques within their images. Learners will create a range of images to demonstrate and explain depth of field, Learners will explore creating images in black and white and discuss the impact of black and white images. Learners will be able to demonstrate at least 3 simple edits to change their image including use of preset adjustments, crop and straighten. Learners will be able to merge two images to create a double exposure image using Snapseed.
