Join us for a joyful and creative journey in our 4-week Watercolour Christmas Card course! Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your painting skills, this friendly and festive course is the perfect way to get into the Christmas Spirit. Each week, you’ll learn simple watercolour techniques to create beautiful handmade cards featuring seasonal themes – from vibrant Christmas greenery to snowy scenes, cheerful snowmen and sparkling baubles. Over the four weeks, you’ll build your skills step by step. We’ll explore how to mix festive greens and reds to paint holly, ivy and mistletoe with delicate brushwork.
We will compose a wintery landscape, complete with falling snow, focus on form and shading to produce a charming snowman with a scarf and twig arms and paint shiny baubles with a touch of sparkle and shine Guided along the way, you will explore essential watercolour methods like wet-on-wet blending, layering and adding fine details. By the end of the course, you will have a lovely collection of personalized cards, plus the confidence and skills to keep painting on your own.
