This is a full permaculture design course aimed at gardeners in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and will run 1 weekend per month, on both Saturday and Sunday, between February and July (please note no meeting in May, but June has 2 weekends). The course will introduce the basic concepts of permaculture theory and practice and will enable learners to integrate ecological and design thinking into their everyday lives. Participants must commit to all sessions.
This subsidised course is programmed as part of the Miner2Major Landscape Partnership scheme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
This comprehensive course will equip you with knowledge and understanding of permaculture ethics and principles, soil and water, energy and alternative economics, design tools and projects, ecology, forest gardens, polycultures and gardening.
