Welcome to Inspire Learning at High Pavement House
Inspire College
In September 2024 Inspire College Eastbourne House, Sutton-in-Ashfield, relocated to High Pavement House, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Our state of the art learning centre offers a variety of courses for young people, including:
- City & Guilds Health and Social Care Level 1
- Aim Awards in Construction Level 1
- Aim Awards in Joinery Level 1
- Maths and English GCSE resits and Functional Skills
- Aim Awards in Employability and Personal and Social Development
- City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate: Introduction to the Hospitality Industry
NCFE CACHE Award in Caring for a Child / Children Entry 3 Level

Inspire Adult Learning
Our learning offer for adults 19+ has expanded too! We've introduced courses for people to socialise, and have fun whilst learning something new. Some of our courses also run evenings and weekends offering flexibility around work or other caring commitments.
People can improve their health and wellbeing, and employability, whether that’s building confidence with maths, English, digital and IT, cooking skills or crafts.
We're enrolling now for courses starting after February half term, including Cooking West Indian Creole Stew, Collagraphs and Drypoint, and Mindfulness and Mental Health. Looking ahead to April you could earn a qualification with our Introduction to Health and Social Care Level 1 Award.

Prime location and modern facilities
Our learning centre is conveniently located close to Sutton town centre and Inspire’s Sutton-in-Ashfield Library, making it easily accessible. Ashfield District Council, with funding from the Government’s Towns Fund, acquired and refurbished the building to provide a top-tier educational environment.
Inspire has further invested in kitchen refitting, ICT infrastructure, furniture and soft furnishings to ensure a comfortable, productive learning space that creates a vibrant and supportive setting for the young people of Ashfield to thrive.
