Working Well East Midlands

Inspire Adult Learning is now a delivery partner for Working Well East Midlands.

Working Well East Midlands is a free service offering personalised one-to-one support to help people living in Nottingham City, Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe discover fulfilling paid employment that is tailored and inclusive.  

Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC), Working Well East Midlands is for adults facing physical or mental disabilities, as defined by the Equality Act 2010.

Led by Nottingham City Council, this new initiative is delivered in collaboration with East Midlands Chamber, Inspire Adult Learning, and Future Advice Skills and Employment.

Inspire Adult Learning can help you if you are: 

  • Aged 18 or over.
  • Unemployed.
  • Living or registered with a GP surgery in Broxtowe, Gedling or Rushcliffe.
  • Experiencing mental and/or physical health conditions or disabled (this can be self-defined).

You will get help with:

  • Personalised one to one support to help you discover fulfilling paid employment tailored just for you.
  • Building your strengths and evidencing the skills that local employers value.
  • Finding and securing suitable full-or part-time work.
  • Debt management and accessing benefits.
  • Your well-being.
  • Continuing support once you’ve landed your new job.
