Lucy Worsley grew up in West Bridgford and was possibly history's most assiduous volunteer ever at West Bridgford Library, where she spent all her childhood Saturdays.  She went on to study history, researching a PhD thesis about Nottingham Castle and Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire, before making her career in London working in heritage and history television. John Hess, former BBC political editor for the East Midlands will be our interviewer.

  • The talk will take place via Zoom in a webinar format. Your personal link to join will be sent out one day in advance of the event by email to the address given on your booking. This will be generated via Eventbrite and, depending on your email settings, may sometimes be found in a junk mail folder.
  • Microphones will be muted and audience questions will be selected via the Q&A function.

  • Good power supply
