From our friends at First Art, The Full Shebang Festival returns to Mansfield!
A FREE one-day arts festival for all ages. Everyone’s invited!
Outside and in, there’s all sorts of fun to be had in and around Mansfield town centre.
Experience awesome gravity-defying outdoor performances, witty walkabout shows, the chance to dance through the decades, hands-on activities, live music, and more.
Inspire are delighted that our 2022 artist and author in residence, Pete Gray and Alice Harman will be running a free workshop in Mansfield Central Library.
Create a World-Saving Chatterbox
Free drop in workshop
10.30am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm
Suitable for 5+
Author Alice Harman and illustrator Pete Gray have taken the humble paper fortune teller (you know, the generation-spanning playground game) and made it into something extra special. The Chatterbox. A world-saving Chatterbox no less.
Each Chatterbox will feature a special alien character designed under Pete’s watchful eye. Then, guided by Alice (who's written all sorts of fab books for younger beings, including ones on climate change) the Chatterbox-creator will add some eco-challenges.
Children will also have the chance to ask Alice and Pete any questions they have about being an author or illustrator and creating books and artwork.
