Within this course you will start your story into Bobbin Lace Making, a heritage craft with rich and long history; dating from the 1500’s. Within the course you gain experience of the equipment and look at different styles of Bobbin Lace from around the world.
Over the course you learn the background of the stitches used in Bobbin Lace, and create samples which can be created into brooch or cards, to show off your craft skills. – suitable for all – no previous craft experience required
If you have previous knowledge then the tutor will develop an individual plan that meets your aims to develop your lacemaking skills

Equipment can be used in class from the tutor, but if learners have lacemaking equipment, please bring it along

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
