About this course

Lino printing can be a fun, creative way to begin exploring basic ideas with fantastic end results!

This course is suitable for anyone who is new to lino printing. Or even if you have tried it in the past, it may have been a long time ago, so this will be a fun reminder of what you can achieve in a small space of time.

Over the 5 weeks of the course, you will learn how to draw sketches suitable for lino printing and learn how to cut the lino and print it using inks.  Remember to wear suitable clothing, it can get messy!

By the end of the course, you will: understand what the various lino tools/equipment/inks are used for and what is the most effective way to use those tools to get the best results. You will understand what kind of sketches you can do in the future that will result in effective lino printing designs.
