Inspire Learning provides Community Learning Courses directly to the public and we work with other providers, our learning partners, to help us to deliver our services to you.
Our learning partners include large and small organisations from the voluntary and community and Further Education sectors.
Working with partners means we can provide more learning opportunities to more people across more locations and communities, so that everyone gets the chance to take part. Take a look at their websites to search for courses near you.
Our partners for the 2018/19 academic year are:
Advocacy 2 engagement (a-2-e) is a social enterprise providing education, advocacy and support. We deliver courses for people with learning difficulties and disabilities in community venues across Nottinghamshire. We plan what courses to deliver, depending on what people say they want or need.
DC Education works on site within Mansfield and Nottingham probation offices, with some of the hardest to reach learners. Our learners have often had negative past experiences of education, substance misuse, offending behaviour and in the majority of cases have been excluded, are unable to access, mainstream education.
DC Education provides roll on roll off, Personal Development Course which are individually tailored to increase confidence, motivation, all communication skills and either English, Maths or ICT.

NG:She provides learning opportunities mainly for women, with the aim of improving the quality of their lives by combating isolation, increasing self confidence, encouraging improved well being and enhancing life chances, including via volunteering and employment opportunities. We offer courses across Nottinghamshire including in Arnold, Beeston, Selston, and Carlton and also in Nottingham City Centre.
NG:She is able to offer specialist in class support on all of our courses to women who speak English as a second language and those who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse.

Family Learning is exactly what it says,
different generations working and learning together within their community. We
aim to bridge the gap and provide learning for all. We deliver a wide and
diverse range of programs, flexible and tailored to meet all individual needs.
Our courses are fun and innovative from arts and crafts, play and language,
STEM to accredited Maths, ITC and English. ‘We specialise in out of the
ordinary.’ We deliver all over Nottinghamshire.
The provision is run from our 4 community-based centres in Mansfield, Newark, Southwell and Southwell Flower Pod and in residential/supported living centres across Nottinghamshire to enable adults with learning disabilities to gain the skills they need to make healthier lifestyle choices, experience how participating in creative therapeutic activities improves their sense of wellbeing, and progress towards gaining greater control over their own lives.
Courses include Horticultural, Singing, Cookery, Sports, Dance, Pottery, Communication, Sit & Be Fit, Drama, Boccia, Fitness & Nutrition, Digital Learning Using Tablets and Pre-Employability.

The Adult Community Learning Team at West Nottinghamshire College offers a wide range of courses across Mansfield, Ashfield and parts of Newark and Sherwood; most of these courses are open-access and available to adults aged 19 and over. Courses are also delivered in partnership with many local schools, children’s centres and support organisations including MIND, Framework and Space Inclusive. The community team at North Notts College offers a wide range of courses across Bassetlaw.
The courses are for anyone aged 19+ and some of the courses offer free childcare
Courses include a wide range of subjects such as IT, Photography, Crafts, English, maths, ESOL, Cooking, Cake Decorating, Textiles, Mindfulness and Confidence Building.
