Two men dressed as farmers holding a chicken in a wooden box.

We’ll be running a fantastic range of ‘make and take’ activities and will be joined by Newark’s very own Doodling Poet, Chris White who’ll be running cartoon workshops throughout the day, so you can go home with your very own Easter themed cartoon creations!

After 12pm, we’ll be getting very egg-cited, as we are crossing our fingers for a visit from the world's first chocolate-egg laying chicken, from the ‘Easy Lay Egg’ company. Come and meet this intriguing bird and see if you can help to create the right conditions for her to lays some delicious chocolatey eggs!

The usual library Saturday attractions will also be available, so why not come and try Rattle, Rhyme and Roll, and Stay and Play from 10am – 11am, Lego Club from 11am – 1pm, or our adult Scrabble Club in the afternoon from 1pm - 3pm.

All welcome, all ages, all abilities and all Easter fun enthusiasts!
