About this course

This short 3-week face-to-face course is designed to help you, not only improve your knowledge of Excel, but also improve your employability it could also lead to an accredited qualification if you transfer to the Essential Digital Skills course.

Course Content

Formatting: getting the best of the ribbon
Formulas: add, average & totals
Functions: AutoSUM, absolute cell references, filter & sort
Creating graphs

By then end of this course, you will be able to:

Set-up a spreadsheet
Apply common formulas and filters and create graphs.

Who is it suitable for?

Learners on this basic level course should already be familiar with using a laptop or computer.
Learners will also need an active email account as resources will be emailed throughout the course.

Laptops will be provided for each session.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
