Would you like to do a fun and creative activity with your children?
In this single session, you and your children can make simple funny-face animals, during half term at Mansfield Library.
Using origami paper and glue sticks, you will be able to choose colour and design, and then recognize 2D shapes to create forms. You will use symmetry and fold correct angles in paper, to create fun animal faces.
This craft is suitable for adults with children aged 5 plus.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
You will be able to;-
• help your child to recognise 2D shapes
• choose your favourite colours and designs
• measure angles and fold symmetrically
• create 3 different paper-folded funny animal faces
What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?
None, but this is a course to support you to help your child create fun paper-folded creations.
This course is for people who don’t already have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above) or are not confident in using maths at this level.
Will the learner receive anything for free for attending?
No
Adult and child family event. Adults 19+, 2 children per adult
