About this course

This Course is for anyone who has completed  Beginners Italian Part I, II & II  or who already has some previous knowledge of the language, 


We will be covering various Tenses, expanding our use of Verbs and Adjectives, developing practices of reading and writing in Italian and further progressing our conversational abilities in the target language. 


What will be covered on the course?   

  • We will look at translating paragraphs/Reading a newspaper article 
  • Keeping a Diary 
  • Presenting a piece of writing 
  • We will practice and learn the vocabulary for talking about a Hobby or Holiday using Past Tense or Talking about Plans for a future trip using Future Tense 

What will learners achieve by the end of the course? 

  • Learners will gain confidence in their knowledge of the language, be able to speak more fluidly and have gained a broad base of topics they are able to discuss 

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course? 

  • Learners will need to be able to speak, read and write in English during the Course. 
  • Learners will have attended previous Beginners Courses and have a knowledge of simple grammar structure and vocabulary 

As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course.  Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
