Want to improve your maths skills? During this course you will work towards a City and Guilds maths qualification at a level that is right for you. You will learn a range of techniques to help you solve number problems in everyday life.
Your 13 lessons will be delivered online on a Monday and Tuesday evening, Your exam, at the end of the course, will take place at one of our Nottinghamshire libraries.
On completion of this course you will be confident using numbers in every life; understand a range of methods to help you solve problems and use your skills to support you progress within your chosen area.

The lessons are delivered online so you will need a laptop or tablet, that can support Zoom, and access to the internet. It is useful to have your own calculator, pen and notepad. A textbook appropriate to your level will be provided to you on completion of your online initial assessment.
To get the most from your course please ensure that you can attend every session (barring sickness or emergencies) and that you have a quiet place to work undisturbed.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
