Have you always wanted to grow your own but not sure where to start?
Would you like to learn some planting techniques, tips and tricks?
If so, Grow Your Own is the course for you.
This course aims to build your confidence to grow your own fruit and veg by applying simple maths and planning strategies to ensure success.
You will need: Ruler, pencil, gardening gloves, plant pots, compost, the following seeds: peas, beans, sunflowers, a potato with shoots if possible, a strawberry plant.
When doing any gardening or planting, always wear gloves, wash hands afterwards and keep away from food and drink while planting.
This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.
To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:
You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking. If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.
To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
