On completion of this course students should be able to select and use a wide range of intermediate spreadsheet software tools and techniques to produce, present and check spreadsheets that are at times non-routine or unfamiliar. They will be able to use a software application designed to record data in rows and columns, perform calculations with numerical data and present information using charts and graphs.
This is a great course for learning how to use spreadsheets within the programme of Excel for use in a working environment.
Skills shown will help you to use a spreadsheet to enter, edit and organise numerical and other data, select and use appropriate formulas and data analysis tools and techniques to meet requirements and use tools and techniques to present, and format and publish spreadsheet information. You will also look at using cut, copy & paste, insert sheets, filter & sort, create formulas & functions like SUM and IF, use conditional formatting, add boarders, freeze panes and creating charts.
Students must have prior knowledge of Excel to take this course.
This is a great steppingstone onto the level 3 Excel course.
