About this course

This is an introductory course to using computers and raising confidence in doing so. Students will learn basic skills on a computer to set them up for joining the digital times.

Basic skills like using a mouse and keyboard will be worked on as well as learning how to organise, store and retrieve information, work with files and folders so that it is easy to find and retrieve information and identify where to get expert advice and help to solve problems. This is a great start if you are scared to use computers and need to start using them within your life.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
