Printmaking Drypoint Etching is an ideal technique to explore as a gateway to other forms of etching. It is essentially a way of drawing and markmaking onto metal to create linear and tonal images that when printed have a completely unique quality.
During the course you will work directly from visual source materials to develop a range of your own aluminum plates, experimenting with scribed lines, markmaking and how to use these to create tone.
