About this course

This course helps you to continue to grow in confident when participating in German conversations. You will develop and apply some language and grammar skills and discover cultural aspects of the German speaking world.

The course is designed to support you in participating in spoken and written German conversations.

What will be covered on the course?

The course will cover a variety of topics and review prior learning. You will be applying your knowledge to better understand and respond to spoken and written German.

What will learners achieve by the end of the course?

By the end of the course, you will be more confident to participate in German conversation. You will have opportunities to apply your prior learning in participating in German conversations.

Through this course you will be able to increase your intercultural knowledge and meet others with an interest in languages and cultures. Furthermore, the course enhances communication skills and raises confidence when traveling abroad or learning other foreign languages.

What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?

This is part 2 of the German Conversation course.
To enroll on this course, you should have already completed German Conversation course or have the ability to follow some conversations in German.
Basic numeracy and literacy are required.

As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
