About this course

This introduction to electricity course is designed to help learners understand the concept of electrical currents, static electricity, conductors, insulators, electrical circuits, voltage and resistance.

During this course, learners will be able to demonstrate their abilities to illustrate simple electrical circuits with the utilization of universal circuit symbols and make accurate calculations of current, voltage and resistance within circuits by using Ohm's law. Participants will also learn of the devices used to determine the current, voltage and resistance in circuits, as well as safety devices such as fuses and circuit breakers which aid in protecting circuits and appliances.

As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.
