About this course

Italian for Beginners part 3 is a progression from Italian for Beginners part 2 and for anybody wishing to learn Italian further. Whether you are learning for work or pleasure, it will give you a thorough grounding in the language and enable you to speak, read, write, and understand contemporary Italian at a basic level. To participate on this course, you should have completed the Italian for Beginners part 1 and 2 with Inspire, or have a basic knowledge of the Italian language and it's structure.

During the course you’ll learn how to talk in the formal form in Italian, talk about likes and dislikes, how to make a phone call, useful expressions for shopping and talking about things you have done.

Lessons contain a lot of speaking practice with role-play, group work and class discussions allowing students to gain confidence by practicing the language as much as possible.  At the end of the course, you’ll have some elementary appreciation of Italian grammar and structures and you’ll be able to give basic information about yourself and ask for directions.

You’ll also be able to communicate at a basic level when you are in restaurants and in hotels
