Learn to Relax-Edwinstowe-Adult Learning

About this course

This course aims to introduce you to many different relaxation techniques for managing thoughts and emotions, calming techniques for the body and ways to increase self-care and compassion.  

During the course, we will cover: 

- Understanding your meaning of what relaxation looks and feels like and what creates anxiety and tension.  

- Notice the stories created by the mind and thinking traps into which we fall.  

- Learn tools to let go of unhelpful thoughts.  

- Develop skills for Emotional self-regulation. 

- Practice techniques for releasing tension in the body 

- Self-care and self-compassion 

Resources required by attendees

• Pens 
• Blank paper
• If possible coloured pens or pencils. 
•    A smartphone or internet-enabled device.  

If you have one, your library card to connect to the internet.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

• Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
• Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
