Inspire Culture, Learning and Libraries is a proud delivery partner on a fantastic scheme called Miner2Major: The Real Sherwood Forest. The scheme will encourage local people and community groups to get involved in projects aimed at exploring, celebrating and conserving Nottinghamshire’s heritage.
Knittinghamshire is Inspire's 2021 Knitting Challenge! The Miner2Major Landscape Partnership Scheme and the RSPB at Sherwood Forest are joining Inspire to support Nottinghamshire crafters to take part in The Innocent Big Knit and raise money for AgeUK.
Inspire Youth Arts are leading a new and exciting project to create a film/podcast celebrating Sherwood's legendary landscapes, places and heritage. They're looking for young people aged 13 - 19 year (or up to 25 with a disability) to join them
There are many FREE courses, volunteering opportunities, and accredited training - designed to provide an understanding of the heritage of Sherwood Forest, and give people practical skills to restore, manage, understand and promote heritage within the landscape.
