Enquiries

Our staff are happy to provide basic information about our service by telephone, but more detailed enquiries or requests about our holdings can only be responded to as written enquiries by email or letter.

Our free enquiry service is limited to information about the use of the Archives Service. After that, a research fee will apply.

All requests to look up information in online or archival resources will be subject to a research fee.

We aim to reply to initial enquiries within five working days.  

We charge a fee to carry out research in our collections to provide specific information or to provide copies of documents. Research fees will still apply even if the result is minimal or negative as a search has still been carried out.
