Exploring military records with Ancestry - a VIRTUAL talk by Simon Fowler
We're always looking to improve your experience. Please send us your feedback.
Archive enquiries can be made by letter, email or via our online form:
Our staff are happy to provide basic information about our service by telephone, but more detailed enquiries or requests about our holdings can only be responded to as written enquiries by email or letter.
Our free enquiry service is limited to information about the use of the Archives Service. After that, a research fee will apply.
All requests to look up information in online or archival resources will be subject to a research fee.
For details of the different services available and prices see our full Fees and Charges list.
We aim to reply to initial enquiries within five working days.
We charge a fee to carry out research in our collections to provide specific information or to provide copies of documents. Research fees will still apply even if the result is minimal or negative as a search has still been carried out. Please visit our Research Service page and Reprographics Service page for further information.
We’d love you to join us! By becoming a member of Inspire you will be able to have your say on how the society works and develops.
