Inspire are delighted to share the I Am An Artist publication.
As part of I Am An Artist, five professional artists worked with five different groups of people in Nottinghamshire communities – groups which included people affected by dementia, older people, specialist schools and neurodivergent families – to co-create artworks.
Prior to working with the groups, the artists took part in a series of Continuing Professional Development sessions delivered by Arts for Dementia and Daryl & Co, to help them expand their skillsets, to inform their creative practices, and to better equip them to work with the participants. The artists then led a series of workshops with their groups.
Some of the resulting inspiring pieces of artworks are shown in the publication below, for wider audiences to enjoy.
