Libraries Connected and partners including The Arts Council and The Reading Agency have identified six key areas of service which library users see as essential to 21st century library service – reading, information, digital, health, learning and culture. From this they have developed The Universal Offers.
The Universal Health Offer expresses the public library contribution to the positive health and well-being of local communities. It includes a commitment to provide a range of services including public health information and promotion, sign posting and referrals as well as creative and social reading activity.
By becoming a library member you will be able to borrow books and items for FREE in libraries across the county, including mobiles. You can also access eResources, Ancestry and more!
